Hanney Chapel, East Hanney, Oxon (ex-Berks)

A little further into the village is Hanney Chapel, looking a fairly typical example of a non-Conformist church. this was built in the mid-C19 as a Congregational Chapel and now belongs to the United Reformed Church. It has a recessed central porch with a blank arched recess above and flanking windows. The church has been extended to the right with meeting room(s).

  1. The chapel does not belong to the United Reformed Church. It is an independant chapel linked to the Association of Grace Baptist Churches
